Quotes and scope

Every job is quoted for a defined scope: the site, the deliverables, the schedule and the area covered. Work outside the scope is quoted separately before it is done. A quote is valid for 30 days.

Payment

A deposit, stated on the quote, is due on acceptance. The balance is due on delivery. Recurring programmes are invoiced per visit or monthly. Overdue amounts may carry interest at 1.5 percent per month.

Weather, airspace and site access

Flights depend on weather, airspace authorisation and site access. If any of these prevent a capture we reschedule at no charge. If a site is not accessible on the agreed date for reasons on the client's side, a mobilisation fee may apply.

Compliance

Lensdrone Inc. holds the Transport Canada Advanced RPAS certificate and commercial liability insurance, and obtains airspace authorisations and Special Flight Operations Certificates where required. Operators dispatched by Lensdrone hold the same certificate and insurance. Lensdrone remains the operator of record and the client's single point of contact.

Data ownership and licence

On payment in full, the client owns the delivered imagery, maps, models and reports and may use them without restriction. Lensdrone retains a copy for the duration of the project for redelivery, then deletes it unless asked to keep it. Lensdrone does not publish client sites or data without written permission.

Accuracy and reliance

Mapping deliverables state their achieved accuracy. Inspection imagery is a visual record; engineering assessment, professional opinions and sign-off are the client's or their engineer's. Lensdrone is not a licensed engineer or surveyor unless a quote says otherwise.

Liability

Lensdrone's liability for any job is limited to the amount paid for that job. Lensdrone is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Canadian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada.
