Larco Properties: Gateway Residences, two towers, ten views

The problem

Gateway Residences is a two-tower project by Larco Properties at Park Royal in West Vancouver. Before construction, Larco needed to show what each floor of each tower would look out on: the North Shore mountains one way, Lions Gate Bridge and the water the other.

What we captured

Ten 360 panoramas in a single afternoon on 7 May 2019. Tower 1 at floors 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14; Tower 2 at floors 4, 6, 8 and 10. Each one positioned over its tower’s footprint at the elevation of that floor.

Published as one interactive viewer: step up and down the floors, switch between the towers, a compass so north is never in doubt, and a direct link to any floor (the URL carries the tower and floor, so a sales conversation can start at #t1_f14).

What changed

Instead of one rendered view per tower, Larco had the real view from every second floor of both, in a link, years before anyone could stand there.
